Everything has been on hold for me since this album came out. I’ve been waiting since the beginning of summer and knew it was gonna be a good one. Since its release, it has been the soundtrack for the start of this fall season for me. Riding my bike by the river. Fishing with Campbell. Driving to the flea market. Swimming in the Ozarks. I’ve been in a sleep schedule-related slump that is definitely contributing to some eerie vibes this Halloween season. I think I may have been cursed by an opposum who came to see me on the fire escape last week… Also, I have discovered a wasps’ nest right outside our kitchen window, so my favorite writing spot is out of use until further notice. I may have to leave dream world soon to confront whatever spooky reality seems to be trying to wake me up. I’ll see what the stars say.
